Impact
The initiative began in 2019, starting small as an online educational series on social media raising awareness for speech delay in young children.
Fast forward to 2022 we were honoured to have received a response from MP Will Quince Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Children and Families.
Time for Talk had finally been recognised by the government after three years of advocacy work and to have such a influential government official label the campaign as “important” affirms that all the hard work we have been doing since 2019 has finally paid off!
It is a positive step that the Government are putting in actions to help children with SLCN achieve their full potential with the Schools White Paper.
Our initiative will continue to push for more funding and more acceptance regarding children with communication needs!
